OPEN UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT!
The Black Lion is now under new management so come give us a try! The bar opened on Saturday 22nd and the restaurant opened on Wednesday 26th. We are now open every day serving drinks, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Booking is advised for diners but your always welcome to walk in & if we have space we'll be happy to accommodate you. We don't reserve the tables in the bar, these are for drinkers and/or walk ins
Andy & Izzy from the Carpenters Arms in Wighton took over the Black Lion in July 2023.
We're hoping to bring the hotel back to its former self, a bar that welcomes all and serves local ales, fantastic beers & wines & a great selection of spirits with a restaurant that serves hearty, fresh pub grub!

Our team of Chef's make the most of the fantastic local suppliers to create delicious dishes. Our main menu runs alongside our specials board which changes daily.

About Us
The Black Lion Hotel is a grade II listed building located in the heart of Walsingham with parts of the building dating back to the 15th century. Re opening in July 2023 we will be serving local beers, wines & spirits along side proper hearty pub classics using the fantastic suppliers around North Norfolk! Our restaurant and bar are dog & family friendly and welcome everyone whether just for a drink or for food too.
Andy & Izzy have both worked in hospitality for over 15 years. In January 2019 they took over The Carpenters Arms and with the help of a fantastic team & wonderful customers the pub has gone from strength to strength despite the setbacks caused by Covid19.
